The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra is home to more than 40 tigers. Man-Animal Conflict is a key issue, as there are scores of villages outside the national parks periphery and buffer area. To combat this issue the Forest Department has taken some unique initiatives like the establishment of Eco-Development committees to include the local community in conservation efforts which is a key demand of our save our tiger agenda. This episode also takes a close look at a Community owned Nature Conservancy project in Tadoba started by conservationists Harsh and Poonam Dhanwatey.
