Environmentalists slam climate summit

The Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate held its first meeting at Sydney. The extremes in climate, hurricanes, heat waves and harsh winter have forced the partnership of six countries. Representatives of Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and the US are participating in the meet to look at ways to develop new technologies to bring down global emissions.
