Dettol-NDTV Banega Swachh India celebrates Global Handwashing Day on 15th October by conducting a painting competition across 5 cities to spread the importance of hand hygiene among children. Taking this initiative forward, the campaign partnered with Madhya Pradesh and WaterAid to break the world record of most number of people washing hands at different locations at the same time. The state has crossed a whopping figure of over 13 lakhs children!
