World Toilet College In Aurangabad Aims To Train 5000 Sanitation Workers

In order to improve health conditions of sanitation workers and to inculcate sense of dignity, India's second World Toilet College in Aurangabad, Maharashtra aims to train 5000 sanitation workers over a period of 2 years. The main motto of World Toilet College is to develop the skills of the sanitation workers that will help in achieving the dream of Clean India mission. The program caters to the capacity-building needs of people working at different levels in the sanitation value chain, from middle management government officials to school representatives and childcare-centre workers, to local sanitation workers and community members.
