"Don't Waste Time": Top Court On Plea Against Police Action On CJP Protesters

The Supreme Court declined an urgent plea seeking suo motu action over the alleged police action against students during the CJP-led protest in Delhi. Refusing the request, the bench remarked, "Don't waste our time and yours," and said it was not inclined to examine video footage at the mentioning stage. The plea followed protests in New Delhi over alleged irregularities in major examinations, during which demonstrators demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan were stopped by police while marching towards Parliament.
