Delhi PG Building Collapse: 40-50 Students Feared Trapped In Satya Niketan, 6-7 Rescued
A boys’ PG building collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan, with around 40-50 students feared trapped inside. Six to seven students have been rescued from the rubble, with three reportedly in critical condition and admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre. Rescue operations are underway on a war footing, with 12 fire tenders, NDRF, DDMA and Delhi Police teams deployed at the spot. The adjacent building has also been evacuated. Construction work was reportedly underway in the basement when the collapse took place.
