Defence forces not to implement pay hike
India's armed forces deserve better is the common refrain a day after the three service chiefs decided to delay the implementation of pay hikes. All Central government organisations will start paying out the new salaries in October but the armed forces have decided not to accept the hikes to protest the disparity between them and the civil servants.
