Chandigarh-Ambala Highway, Sealed Due To Farmers' Protest, Reopens

The Chandigarh-Ambala highway was reopened on Monday, days after it was sealed in view of the farmers' "Delhi Chalo" march. The highway was sealed when the protesting farmers from Punjab began their march to Delhi to press the Centre for their demands, including a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops and farm loan waiver.
