Centre asks states to set up regulators for the retail sector

Sources tell NDTV that the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has written a note to all state governments, asking them to set up regulators for the retail sector at their level. The proposed regulator will be called retail and mall regulatory authority.
