CCPA finalises affidavit on Sethu
The Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) has finalised its affidavit on the Sethusamudram Project to be placed in the Supreme Court. The UPA government wants the project to go ahead. However, it has stayed clear of saying whether the Ram Sethu is a man made structure or not. It has argued that no realignment can happen now, as there are environmental concerns if its present position is changed.
