It has been a week since the death of 13-year-old Aradhana, who died just two days after she ended her 68 day fast. There have been no arrests in the case although a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been booked by the Hyderabad police against Aradhana's parents. Now prominent leaders of the Jain community have written to the Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, saying that the case against Aradhana's parents is unfair and violates right to religious freedom.
