Calm Returns to LoC After Ceasefire Agreement, Says Army | Read

The Indian Army this morning said there were "no incidents" reported overnight and called it a "first calm" night along the Line of Control (LoC) in recent days.

India and Pakistan were involved in intense firing for weeks as tensions simmered following a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. The two countries announced a ceasefire agreement Saturday evening.

"The night remained largely peaceful across Jammu and Kashmir and other areas along the International Border. No incidents have been reported, marking the first calm night in recent days," the army sources told NDTV.
