Weakness Seen in Consumer Demand: IIFL Wealth Management

Prashasta Seth, senior fund manager at IIFL Wealth Management, says that in the consumer goods segment, year-on-year prices in many cases have come down due to lower commodity prices. However, one needs to look at volume growth in these companies rather than sales growth, he adds.
