The Sona Group on Monday said it has acquired the precision forging business of German steel maker ThyssenKrupp. The precision forgings business has a Euro 300 million turnover with three plants in Germany, one in the United States. The deal will be closed by the end of January. Though the ThyssenKrupp Technologies board has already approved the sale, Sona refused to disclose the deal size at this stage.
