RBI calls policy review on holding cos

Call it economically correct but it surely has ended up as a politically incorrect message from the Reserve Bank of India to its political boss, the Finance Ministry.Its discussion paper on allowing banks to float holding companies in a lot of ways contradicts the government's approval to ICICI Bank to set up a holding company.
