Titan Company CFO S Subramanium says it is not fair to compare first quarter earnings with the corresponding numbers last year as the jewellery maker saw a gold rush on the back of a decline in gold prices. He also says that in view of the base effect witnessed by the company in Q1 FY14, a 7 per cent drop in revenue seems to be a good achievement.
