S. Naren, CIO, ICICI Prudential AMC, believes that the key thing to watch in 2013 for the markets is the current account deficit, which should signal a fall in fiscal deficit, and hence a big fall in interest rates. Although he is not hopeful that the government will tighten the fiscal position ahead of an election year, he thinks over the next two-three years this has to happen. He says the best way to play that coming fall in rates is infrastructure stocks.
