Emami Ltd's international business continues to report solid growth as revenues grew 37 per cent YoY in the third quarter on account of strong growth in SAARC and GCC, tells the company’s CEO for finance, strategy and business development, N H Bhansali. Softening menthol prices and lower ad spends led to a 527 bps jump in EBITDA margin to 30.2 per cent, he adds. Emami’s strong focus on a niche product portfolio ensures lower competitive intensity from MNCs and hence very high gross margins.
