Manufacturing PMI for India rose to 54.2 in February as against 53.2 in January, as measured by HSBC. The data reflects a pick-up in manufacturing activity, explains Leif Eskesen of HSBC. He, however, adds that both input and output prices also picked up during the month, raising fears of inflation.
