on GST collection. We have a mixed bag. GST collection has fallen month on month, but it did rise year on year. The May GST collection is recorded at 1.57 lac rupees. The government collected this amount in terms of GST and this is 16% down compared to the GST revenue in the month of April when it was 1.87 LAC rupees. The May GST collection, though, is up year on year by 12%. The monthly GST collection, interestingly, has also crossed 1.5 lac for only the fifth time ever since the inception of GST.
