Gas price hike is a move in the right direction: Kirit Parikh

Kirit S Parikh, chairman of Integrated Research & Action for Development, explains the rationale behind gas prices being almost doubled to $ 8.4mmbtu. He also says that given the impact of the price increase, some of the additional subsidy burden of companies like ONGC should be mopped up by the government. Mr Parikh also speaks on the increased subsidy flow by the government.
