Firms scout for IIM talent

It is raining jobs in IIMs across the country as the placement season is on. IIM-Bangalore was fast emerging as a favourite of global recruiters. Gaurav Aggarwal, a graduate of IIM-Bangalore is all set to take up an offer by Britain's Barclays Bank for $193000 (Rs 85 lakh) a year. IIMs have in recent years competed for the attention of global recruiters. This time at IIM-Bangalore a third of the almost 200 students have been offered pay packets in the range of Rs 30-85 lakh.
