The recent strength in euro may hold and could extend further in the near term, says Jonathan Cavenagh of Westpac Banking Corp. He explains that at a time when the Fed and the BoJ balance sheets continue to expand, the ECBs balance sheet is actually shrinking. This, along with strong risk appetite, will keep the euro strong.
