ASK trying to tap rural investors
Very soon small towns will have savvy people to advise locals on how to invest their money because there's a lot of cash floating around in India's hinterland. Brokerage ASK reckons that there are about one lakh dollar millionaires that is people with over Rs 4 crore in India and the number of people who have above Rs 1-4 crore is a staggering 2.5 lakh. So there's a market worth $260 billion for financial advice.
