Airtel hopes to launch Sri Lanka services by Dec

Telecom major Bharti’s plans to acquire South African telecom firm MTN didn't quite work out. Now it seems, the company's plans for an international greenfield operation closer to home, is going awry. Airtel, which is looking to start operations in Sri Lanka, was unable to come to an agreement on interconnection with the existing Lanka operators over differences on pricing.
