Akasa Air's CEO, in an e-mail, said that a small set of pilots abandoned their duties and left without serving their mandatory contractual notice period. NDTV spoke to aviation expert and former executive director of Kingfisher Airlines Parvez Damania who said it is easier to get planes than pilots and said that airlines will need to plan better going forward.
