BJP Alleges Sonia Gandhi Objected To Full 'Vande Mataram' Rendition At AICC HQ
A political row has erupted over the rendition of Vande Mataram at the AICC headquarters on Independence Day. BJP leader Amit Malviya alleged that Sonia Gandhi sought to stop the national song before it was played in full and claimed Congress leaders were reluctant to allow the complete rendition. The BJP accused the Congress leadership of disrespecting Vande Mataram, while the party had not responded to the allegations at the time of reporting.
