Bhopal: Women take on corporate giants
It's a small effort to honour unsung heroines. In Bhopal, women are taking on fighting corporate giants in rural areas who threaten them with eviction in the name of development. This is kind of world's first award, decided by women for women. Forty-five-year old Mukta Jhodi, a tribal from Orissa's Rayagada district is the proud winner of the first Chingari award.
