'Har Sapna Sach Karega India, Banega Swachh India'. With this motto, we kickstarted India's biggest sanitation campaign
NDTV-Dettol Banega Swachh India in 2014. Over the last couple of years, we have created awareness on safe sanitation practices, raised Rs. 281 crore funds for toilets, initiated advocacy with policy makers and help put in 1.16 crore volunteering hours towards a 'Swachh India'. Last year, we focused on the cleanliness of the 10 Swachh Iconic Places of the country along with #Mere10Guz initiative, which calls for people to dedicate their time to cleanup 10 yards of their surroundings. This year, the campaign widens the scope of #Mere10Guz initiative to include Swachh Zameen (land), Swachh Hawa (air), Swachh Pani (water). The focus is not only on keeping areas clean but also making air and water bodies pollution free.
