Pedestrians and cyclists termed as "Vulnerable Road Users" or VRU's are at highest risk on Indian roads. 20% of all fatalities that happen on our roads are fall into this category. They are constantly struggling with unruly traffic, encroachments on sidewalks and sometimes even the non-existence of footpaths.
