ASCI Draft Guidelines: Influencers to Declare Promoted Content

If you've been swayed by a celebrity talking about a brand or service, the Advertising Standards Council of India has news for you. Draft guidelines issued by the council suggest that all influencers and celebrities will now have to declare if they are being paid to promote a product. The rules are expected to roll out by April 15, after consultation with consumers, influencers, and other stakeholders. Here are all the details.
