This week, as the whole country discusses the black and white of money, markets and politics, we look at contemporary artists who offer a more nuanced approach to black and white. We head to Goa's Sunaparanta Centre for the Arts for a show by photographer Roger Ballen, who brings a luminescence to his monochromatic, surreal and unsettling work. We then profile painter Chetnaa Verma whose new show, 'Noir', is an exploration of black, a departure from her usual work. We also keep you updated about the upcoming events and happenings in the world of art and tell you about Mojarto.
