Argentina’s “March Of Anger” Draws Hundreds In Buenos Aires Against President Milei Policies

Hundreds of demonstrators marched through Buenos Aires on Saturday in the “March of Anger”, protesting President Javier Milei’s economic policies. Organised by left-wing political groups, the demonstration brought together labour unions, students, retirees, human rights groups, artists and environmental organisations. Protesters demanded higher wages and pensions, stronger protections against layoffs, increased funding for healthcare and universities, and action on household debt. They also called for a national strike and urged Argentina to sever ties with the International Monetary Fund. Similar demonstrations were reported across the country.
