"Amendment To Us Sanctions Law Will Help India In Dealing With China": US Congressman

The US House of Representatives has approved a critical amendment in favour of India by an overwhelming majority to waive sanctions when buying military hardware from Russian. The amendment, which was authored and moved by Indian-origin US Congressman Ro Khanna, gives India a special waiver to counter US sanctions, which are imposed on any country that buys defence equipment from Russia.
