West Bengal witnessed the deadly Cyclone Amphan on May 20, which lead to serious devastation in the state as well as its capital, Kolkata. All of this has come at a time when the country is already fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The Cyclone Amphan led to the destruction of innumerable homes and crops on thousands of acres of land. The poorest have been hit the hardest.
