Air Quality Index: First Step to a Pollution Free India?

The World Health Organisation declared Delhi as the most polluted city in the world in 2014. What have we done since then? At least 3,000 people die prematurely in the capital every year because of pollution. And, it's not just the capital. Vehicular pollution, industrial pollution, and pollution from construction sites are all killing Indians like never before. A new Air Quality Index is the first step in informing citizens of the dangers. But, is an index enough? India Speaks on the new Air Quality Index and whether action from individuals, industry and the government needs to speak louder than words.
