'Agnipath' Protests - What's Fanning The Fire?

Protests against Agnipath, a radical recruitment plan for the armed forces, turned violent on Thursday as Armed Forces aspirants disrupted rail and road traffic across India. Trains were set afire, rail and road traffic disrupted, window panes of buses smashed, and stones thrown at BJP leaders.  The Centre has announced measures which it believes will provide an answer to the key question, and this is why the protests are happening - where do soldiers who have completed 4 years in the scheme work after leaving the Army?
