Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday departed New Delhi after participating in the two-day BRICS Summit hosted by India at Bharat Mandapam. During his visit, Xi joined fellow BRICS leaders in summit deliberations, took part in a joint tree plantation drive and visited the Bharat Innovates exposition. On the sidelines of the summit, Xi also held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the two leaders discussing India-China ties and underscoring the need for differences not to become disputes.
