A Delhi Based NGO Helping Improve The Quality Of Neonatal Care

'Vastrr', a Delhi based NGO provides a helping hand to the overburdened hospitals in Delhi by counselling new mothers on neonatal care which is the care required during the first 28 days of life of the babies. They educate the new mothers about hypothermia, low birth weight issues, swaddling, the right technique of breastfeeding, and the importance of colostrum for the health of the baby. They also distribute kits for newborn babies which consist of a set of clothes, reusable diaper, baby blanket, baby plastic sheet, soap, and hand sanitiser.
