21 Maoists, Including 13 Women, Led By Keshkal Division Secretary Mukesh, Surrender With 18 Weapons

In a major success for security forces, 21 Maoists, including 13 women cadres and Keshkal Division Committee Secretary Mukesh, surrendered before the police in North Bastar Kanker, Chhattisgarh. According to IG Bastar P. Sundarraj, the Maoists laid down 18 weapons and pledged to join the mainstream on October 26, 2025. The administration has assured full rehabilitation and assistance for those who surrendered as part of the government’s efforts to promote peace and end left-wing extremism in the region.
