  Stand-alone total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 305.55 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 278.15 crore a year ago.

  Unichem Labs sales jumped 6.5 per cent to 309.07 crore from Rs 290.09 crore during the first quarter of FY15. However, the net profit came in at Rs 28.78 crore compared to Rs 30.19 crore during the same period last year.

  Drug firm Unichem Laboratories on Saturday reported a 67.78 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 9.82 crore for the quarter ended March, 2015, due to an increase in expenses.

  The company had posted a profit of Rs 35.07 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Unichem said in a filing to the BSE.

  Drug firm Unichem Laboratories today said its net profit rose 24.03 per cent to Rs 30.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
