Major Landslide on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

The landslide took place near the Adoshi Tunnel which is close to Lonavala.

Sources say the iron holding on the side of the expressway has become old and so the area is landslide prone.

Both the lanes of the expressway have been closed and the Highway Police have appealed to motorists to use the old Mumbai-Pune road.

An ambulance has been rushed to the spot.
