Fireworks launch countdown to London Olympics 2012

London Olympics, organising chief Sebastian Coe has said that preparations are on track and the Olympic Park venues have taken shape this year, with construction under way of the main stadium, Velodrome, aquatics centre, basketball arena, media centre and athletes' village. (AP Photo)
