Bridge collapses in Uttarakhand, six dead

Six labourers killed after a bridge collapsed at 3 am on Sunday at Chauraas in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

36 others were injured in the collapse.

The incident occurred when the structure collapsed while concrete was being poured into the steel frame of the bridge.

A disaster management team rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operations.

The injured have been taken to Base hospital in Srinagar Garhwal.

Rescue operations have been suspended and the debris was cleared.
