Team Happy New Year launched the trailer of their movie in grand style in Mumbai on August 14. Festivities included a fashion show of outfits by Manish Malhotra and the film's cast - Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff and Vivaan Shah - and crew - director Farah Khan, composers Vishal-Shekhar - showed up in jackets that spelled out I-N-D-I-A-W-A-A-L-E. -
On the ramp, Shah Rukh Khan didn't seem to feel the absence of leading lady Deepika, surrounded as he was by a bevy of lovely models. -
Actress Deepika Padukone was shimmering in a mirror-worked peach-orange sari ornate and a flattering blouse. Wavy hair, bright red lip finished off her look. -
Abhishek Bachchan was in a fun mood as he walked the ramp in a fitted sherwani and slim trousers. Manish was all praises for the actor, tweeting: 'Very Stylish @juniorbachchan you carry my fitted sherwanis with slims trousers just perfectly always :-)' -
Manish Malhotra had something for Farah's comfort zone too. The director walked the ramp happily in navy blue kurta and cigarette pants. -
The filmmaker was accompanied by two of her triplets - Czar and Diva. -
Actor Jackie Shroff, who plays the antagonist in the film, was stylish in fitted pants and high boots teamed with a long bandhgala jacket. -
Sonu Sood was a hottie in jodhpur pants and sherwani in Manish Malhotra's signature navy blue-cream colour combo. -
Actor Vivaan Shah was smart in red bandhgala jacket teamed with black pants for the ramp. -
The cast assembles for applause. -
The fashion show was only a part of the evening's revelry, which was followed by a chat with the cast. Shah Rukh said the film, which is about the "biggest heist", hopes to inspire all losers. -
Looks like SRK revealed Deepika's secret, leaving her slightly embarrassed. -
Gotcha! Deepika is not pleased with what Shah Rukh has to say. -
Nevertheless, SRK's deadpan one-liners left Deepika in splits. -
SRK helped Deepika into her jacket but it looks like she had some trouble zipping it up. -
And here come - Indiawaale! -
Time for the show: Music director duo Vishal and Shekhar set the stage grooving.
