Dulha Mill Gaya: Muddassar Aziz's Dulha Mil Gaya is a passionate love story with comical tints shot mostly in Trinidad and Tobago. It stars Sushmita Sen (as Lisa) and Fardeen Khan (as Shashank) with Shah Rukh Khan putting in a guest appearance (as Raj). Despite his cameo, Shah Rukh Khan is seen prominently in the poster. The movie was put on hold when Shah Rukh hurt his shoulder during the filming and had to go off work for many days due to pain and then a major shoulder surgery.

Pyar Impossible: Pyaar Impossible is a romantic comedy starring Uday Chopra, Priyanka Chopra and Dino Morea in leading roles.

Directed by actor-turned-director Jugal Hansraj under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the movie has been written and produced by Uday Chopra himself.

Pyaar Impossible is said to be inspired by the superhit British film Notting Hill and Hollywood movie Just Friends. It is a love story of a beauty and a geek.

Chance Pe Dance: Chance Pe Dance is a forthcoming Bollywood film that stars Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D'Souza. It is directed by Ken Ghosh and produced by Ronnie Screwala under his banner, UTV Motion Pictures.

The film's working title was Yahoo and another title, Star, was also considered. The film was was shot halfway through with Jiah Khan as the heroine, but was later replaced by Genelia D'Souza.

Rann: Ram Gopal Varma's Rann, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sudeep and Gul Panag in the lead roles, focuses on Indian media.

Before its release, the film has landed up in controversy with the title song which has been inspired by the National Anthem. Apparently, Ramu has replaced the song with Vande Mataram.

Veer: The original hunk of the Bollywood, Salman Khan, is back with a brand new look for his film Veer. The movie is directed by Anil Sharma and written by Salman Khan himself. Veer is based on the Pindari tribe from Rajasthan and the actor indeed has worked a lot on his look.

My Name Is Khan: Directed by Karan Johar, My Name Is Khan will see Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol act opposite each other after a long time. The movie is about Rizwan Khan (SRK), who suffers from Asperger syndrome. He falls in love with a Hindu single mother, Mandira (Kajol).

While not focusing on the events of 9/11, the storyline explores the period afterwards. At that time, authorities arrest and detain Rizwan, after interpreting the visible aspects of his condition as "suspicious" behavior.

After his arrest, he meets Radha, a therapist who helps him overcome the ordeal. Rizwan then begins a journey to find and meet President Barack Obama in order to clear his name.

Teen Patti: Teen Patti will see the coming together of two legends - Sir Ben Kingsley and Amitabh Bachchanm. The movie is directed by Leena Yadav and also stars R Madhavan and Raima Sen. Hollywood actor Richard Gere also makes a guest appearance in the movie.

Teen Patti is an emotionally riveting thriller about greed and deception.

Karthik Calling Karthik: After two back-to-back sober-and-thoughtful roles as a wannabe singer and wannabe actor respectively, Farhan will for the first time try his hand at comedy in Kartik Calling Kartik. The movie is not a full-fledged comedy, it is in fact a thriller. Besides Deepika Padukone who plays the female lead, Kartik Calling Kartik also stars Shefali Shah and Boman Irani. The movie is directed by Vijay Lalwani.

Milenge Milenge: Milenge Milenge has ex-lovers Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur playing the lead. The movie, which seems to be inspired by the 2001 romantic comedy Serendipity, is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Boney Kapoor. The movie was expected to hit screens on 23 December 2005 but due to some financial and casting problems, it didn't. Salman Khan was signed on to do an important extended guest appearance for the film but opted out because of differences with the film's lead pair.

Kareena and Shahid's break-up also affected the release of the movie.

Action Replay: Vipul Shah's Action Replay stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshay Kumar and Randhir Kapoor in the lead. Buzz has it that Aishwarya will be playing an old lady in a few scenes in the movie, for which she will have intensive make up sessions with Hollywood make up artistes.

Kites: Kites directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan, stars Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut and Luce Rains in the lead.

The film is reportedly a high budget movie and has world rights valued at $25 million. It is about an Indian boy's romantic affair with a Latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other's language.

Hrithik Roshan plays a salsa teacher in the movie and Barbara Mori plays the Latina girl.

Rajneeti: Prakash Jha's next film titled Rajneeti has a relatively huge star cast of Manoj Bajpai, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal. Katrina Kaif plays the female lead in the film.

Rajneeti revolves around the dirty game of politics in India.

Raavana: Mani Ratnam is reportedly producing a present day version of the Indian epic Ramayana which tells the story of Rama, whose wife Sita is abducted by the demon (Rakshasa) king of Lanka, Ravana.

Mani Ratnam had earlier directed Thalapathi, which bore close resemblance to the Mahabharata. Shooting began in the Southern part of India.

The movie stars Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Govinda and Priyamani. It is also being made in simultaneously in Tamil as Raavana with a slightly different cast. The music of the movie is composed by Academy Award winner AR Rahman.
