- Zendaya wore an electric blue Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown at The Drama premiere in New York
- Her outfit completed the "something blue" in the classic wedding rhyme she has followed at premieres
- Zendaya previously wore a white Vivienne Westwood gown for "something old" in Los Angeles
Zendaya is clearly having fun with fashion right now. At the New York premiere of The Drama on April 2, the actress-singer showed up in a look that ticked off the final box in a classic wedding tradition. This look was Zendaya's “something blue.”
For the unversed, the star has been building up to this moment. Over the past few premieres for her film, Zendaya has been quietly following the classic wedding rhyme: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” The style moment comes at a time when rumours about her wedding to Tom Holland are making headlines everywhere.
Zendaya's latest outfit? An electric blue gown by Schiaparelli Haute Couture. Think feathers, structure, and a lot of drama – but in a cool, controlled way. The strapless bodice was sculpted and covered in blue and black feathers. The skirt had a drop-waist shape with layered tiers that moved easily as she walked.
The diva did not stop there. Her shoes matched the vibe perfectly. They were bird-inspired pumps with tiny feather details and beak-like tips. Subtle? Not really. But it worked.
For jewellery, Zendaya went with pieces from Tiffany & Co.. Blue stones, statement rings and starry drop earrings kept things polished without taking away from the dress.
It all started in Los Angeles on March 17. Zendaya wore a white Vivienne Westwood gown she previously wore to the 2015 Academy Awards. That covered “something old.”
Then came Paris. The star stepped out in a fresh white gown by Louis Vuitton. It was clean, backless and finished with a bold black bow. That was her “something new.”
Rome was next. This time, Zendaya chose a black gown by Giorgio Armani Prive. The interesting part? The dress had already been worn by Cate Blanchett at the Venice Film Festival in 2025. That checked off “something borrowed.” And now, New York completes the set.
Buzz around Tom Holland and Zendaya's wedding picked up after stylist Law Roach made a casual comment at an awards event earlier this year.
When asked about Zendaya, he said, "The wedding has already happened," and added, "You missed it."
So far, neither Zendaya nor Tom Holland has confirmed anything.
