A woman who was allegedly raped by three men in a moving car on the outskirts of Delhi was driven through several parts of the capital and its suburbs before she was she was thrown from the car onto the road, she has told the police. The woman, 35, is from Rajasthan and arrived in Gurgaon a few weeks ago. She has injuries from the assault that took place last night, but was able to accompany investigators to the road in Greater Noida where she was thrown from the car.
The woman says she was kidnapped at about 8 pm last night from Gurgaon, home to fancy offices of multi-national firms. The three men then allegedly raped her as they drove through the capital to Greater Noida.
The Noida police has registered a complaint of gang-rape based on the woman's statement. The police is waiting for the results of medical tests that were conducted on her this morning.
