The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has changed the exam schedule for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' Examination 2026. The Commission announced the revised dates on September 1, just days before the examination was scheduled to begin.
As per the new schedule, the SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' exams will now be held from September 9 to September 15, 2026. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be conducted from September 9 to September 12.
SSC has not given any reason for extending the examination dates.
In its official notice, the Commission said that candidates should refer to the Important Notice dated August 12, 2026, available on the SSC website, for further details.
SSC Stenographer City Intimation Slip 2026
Along with the revised exam schedule, SSC has also released the advanced exam city intimation slips for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D' examination.
The city slip has been issued around eight days before the respective examination date. Candidates can check the city where their exam centre will be located through the SSC website.
The SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2026 is expected to be released around two to three days before the examination.

- Step 6: Check your exam city, download the slip and save it for future reference.
