CTET 2026 Admit Card: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 on September 6. The board is expected to release the CTET 2026 admit card soon on its official portal, ctet.nic.in. Before the release of the hall tickets, the exam body will inform the candidates of the exam city where the exam centres will be located. Candidates can plan their travel and accommodation accordingly using the CTET 2026 advance intimation of examination cities.
CTET 2026 Admit Card Details
Candidates who registered for the CTET 2026 September session exam will be eligible to download the CTET 2026 admit card. The CBSE will release the admit card in online mode on its official website, ctet.nic.in. The admit card is an important document that the applicants need to carry with them on the day of the examination.
The examination body is expected to release the CTET city intimation slip around 10 days before the exam date. The exam city slip will inform candidates about the city assigned to them for the test. The city slip is released in advance so that the applicants can make the travel arrangements without any last-minute hassle.
Exam Shifts
The CTET 2026 exams will be conducted in two shifts:
Shift 1: Morning (9:30 am to 12 pm) for Paper 2
Shift 2: Evening (2:30 pm to 5 pm) for Paper 1
Test Structure
As per official information, all questions in the CTET exam will be multiple choice questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET:
- Paper 1 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes 1 to 5
- Paper 2 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes 6 to 7
The exam body noted that if a person intends to be a teacher for both levels, then he/she will have to appear in both the papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2).
